On the last one, Tier actually taped the connection to the remote as soon as I took it out of the box to prevent this from happening. The rear of the controller has a hole to keep the EOS-3’s remote control socket cap. I used it to take some timed exposures last night and you can set the duration, hit start and then walk ti,er because the timer will turn it off at the time set instead of you having to stop the exposure.
